Matches Fashion was established in 1987 by Tom and Ruth Chapman and has grown into a multi-channel retail business consisting of 14 stores across London in Marylebone, Notting Hill, Wimbledon Village and Richmond[1].
In 2006 Matches launched their online store Matchesfashion.com. The website receives over 7 million visitors a year and now sends out on average over 1,000 orders per week.
Matches try to present customers with a selection of collections from designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Chanel[2], Christian Louboutin, Alexander McQueen[3], Burberry Prorsum and Lanvin.
Alongside the established international collections, Matches also try to work with emerging talents and bring them to their customer-base. Previous seasons have seen Matches work with designers such as Brian Reyes, Sykes and Rag & Bone.
